How it's calculated
cc = mg ÷ C
mg = mass in milligrams, cc = volume in cubic centimetres, C = concentration in mg/cc. Reverse: mg = cc × C.
Common questions
Is a cc the same as a mL?
Yes, exactly. One cubic centimeter equals one milliliter, so the two units are interchangeable.
Why do I need the concentration?
Milligrams measure mass and cc measures volume. The concentration tells the calculator how much mass sits in each cc.
