How it's calculated
working days = calendar days − weekend days − holidays
Counts every day from start to end, then subtracts Saturdays and Sundays and (optionally) US federal holidays. Calendar days = total span; work weeks = working days ÷ 5.
Common questions
How many working days are in a year?
About 260 to 262 weekdays in a typical year. Subtract roughly 11 US federal holidays and you land near 250 working days.
Do working days include holidays?
By default the count includes all weekdays. Turn on the holiday option to remove US federal holidays from the total.
